Steve is registered with The Law Society of Upper Canada in private practice and with the Ontario and Canadian Institutes of Chartered Accountants as a Chartered Accountant.

Stephen graduated from Dalhousie Law School, articled with a Toronto law firm and then obtained his Chartered Accountant designation.  He has also completed the CICA In Depth Tax Course and a Master of Laws (LL.M) in trust and fiduciary law at Osgoode Hall Law School.

Stephen has over twenty-five years of experience in the legal services, public accounting, banking and trust sectors. While Stephen is responsible for the direction of Tax & Estate Planning at Wealth Stewards, his primary passion is working directly with high net worth private clients.

Throughout his career Steve has maintained a keen interest in charities, serving as treasurer for a large church in Toronto and serving on the Board of a number of charities and non-profit organizations and as Board Chair for a charity engaged in international relief and development
