Ben Margles joined the Wealth Stewards team in January 2024. In his role as a Financial Planner, he collaborates with our wealth advisers to help clients achieve their financial goals through the development of comprehensive financial plans and strategies focused on retirement, tax, estate, and investment planning.
In August 2025, Ben was awarded certification as a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional and was named to the CFP® Exam President’s List with the highest score in Canada on the June 2025 exam. Prior to earning the CFP designation, Ben completed the Honours Bachelor of Commerce – Financial Planning program at Seneca Polytechnic.
Throughout these experiences, he has learned about the necessity of understanding your goals and motivations, as well as the importance of distilling these ideas into measurable and achievable objectives, to create financial planning strategies which are tailored to your individual circumstances. Ben chose to pursue a career in financial planning because of his desire to work with and help others. The opportunity to develop genuine connections and to build trusting relationships with clients is something that he values deeply within his work.
In his spare time, Ben loves to stay active by participating in sports such as hockey, skiing, and tennis. In addition, he enjoys playing guitar and would like to learn to play other instruments such as piano.
