Paul Tyers, FCPA, FCA, CFP, CIM
Paul Tyers’ passion for building, managing and preserving the wealth of private, high-net worth clients lead to the founding of Wealth Stewards Inc. in 2006. Today he is the Managing Director of Wealth Stewards Inc., registered with the Financial Services Commission of Ontario and President of Portfolio Stewards Inc., a registered portfolio manager. He and his team typically provide financial planning and wealth management services to affluent Canadians in conjunction with their other “trusted advisors.” Working at a fiduciary standard, Paul and his team seek to ensure that every client’s wealth is at their most optimal financial health.

Sajjad Mahmood, CF
Sajjad has over 25 years of experience in private equity, venture capital, investment banking, M&A and financial restructuring transactions, and currently serves as the Managing Director of Alchemy Capital Partners. Prior to founding Alchemy, Sajjad’s prior professional experience includes leading the Knowledge Based Industries group for Ernst & Young Corporate Finance (Canada), heading M&A for an investment fund backed by three of the U.A.E.’s sovereign wealth funds, leading private equity investments for a multi-billion dollar single family office and working in the TMT investment banking groups of Morgan Keegan & Company, Inc. (now Raymond James Financial) and Wachovia Securities Inc. (now Wells Fargo Securities) in the United States.
Sajjad earned a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration (Honors and Distinction) from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and holds the Corporate Finance qualification awarded by the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants.

Akua Carmichael, LL.B. J.D., TEP
Akua Carmichael is Vice President, Estate Planning & Services. She provides customized estate planning and administration solutions. Akua is a lawyer and has extensive experience in estate law, having previously provided estate planning, administration, and litigation services. She was called to the Ontario Bar in 2006 and is a member of the Law Society of Ontario and the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP). Akua also has experience in the wealth management and insurance industries. She is a frequent speaker, writer, and educator on estate and trust issues.

Vikash Jain, MSc, CFA, CFP
Vikash joined Wealth Stewards to provide his clients with independent and unbiased investment management and holistic financial planning, including retirement and estate planning. His clients are largely professionals and business owners with complex financial and tax requirements.
Vikash’s career in finance spans nearly three decades and across many areas of expertise including portfolio management, stocks, bonds, alternative assets, ETFs, commodities, derivatives, and real estate.
Prior to joining Wealth Stewards, he was a securities-licensed advisor with IG Wealth Management, where he provided affluent clients with financial and tax planning advice and investment management.
